Today, the dear ladies, who are my Visiting Teachers, hosted a luncheon for the women they visit each month. It was at LouAnn's house. LouAnn is a quilter--besides being such a darling woman. Her house is decked out with all her handiwork.
LYNNE'S SOMEWHAT INVENTED LIFE. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
That quilter has too much talent and too much time...but then I guess someone has to be her and doing what she does or it wouldn't get done by the likes of me.
ReplyDeleteI am jealous...but all is well and as it should be.
my word verication is naginess...hmmm I guess it is official.
what a wonderful talent! I love her work its fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLouAnn is such a talented lady. All this and docent at the pioneer park in Provo, too! The world is a better place, a prettier place, because of LouAnn. This is what I miss about not being in Relief Society.
ReplyDeleteMy word is undri. I wonder if it would work if I just typed in "wet"
Sounds like your friend need to be in enrichement. How cute is she.
ReplyDeleteAll that quilting and I feel good if I manage to sew a button on.
ReplyDeletethe quilter has made some beautiful quilts, I have been known to be a bit crafty myself at times I have done cross stitching, quite a bit of it, used to be my hobby to relax before i go into photography
ReplyDeleteWhat a talented lady she is!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynne
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to stop by and say thank you for visiting my blog! Of course I came to look at yours, and read through some posts and then I saw this one about visiting with LouAnn. Now you are not going to believe what a small world this is, but I KNOW her! We used to live in SLC, and my MIL is is Am Fork and runs the quilt group there, New Friends. Well I used to go all the time and so did LouAnn! I love her! She gave me a bunch of scraps once when I was newly married and I am still using those things! Just mention Carmen (my MIL)and Joanna Martinez to her and she will smile and know who we are!
