Today our oldest friend stopped by--he and Phil served on their missions together. We started talking about blogs. Phil said, "Yesterday Lynne wrote about the day our daughter almost got run over." The he looked at me and said, "What were you doing that day when you got the impression to go check on her."
"I was sewing," I said.
"Oh, my. That's almost as of big a miracle as the actual event."
He thinks he's funny.
PS I think he's funny too.
well were u really went to check out her ?
ReplyDeletebut somehow i support you ....:)
keep well
yeah, sometimes men think they are really funny...and they so aren't...
ReplyDeleteLet him say, Lynne, he hasn't be able to catch the meaning! Narrow mind.
ReplyDeleteOK Phil I want to see just what lovely garment or quilt you have sewn up in your years as a tailor...
ReplyDeleteI find it quite odd that it is always the one or two things that we wonderful superwomen don't do that gets repeated over and over again...
Who needs to sew anyway? Let the ones who can't cook sew and we can swap cookies for sewing.
seriously, I don't want to encourage him, but I laughed out loud.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Lisa
