I didn't take one stinkin' photo. What is the matter with me? (Don't answer, I don't want to know.)
The people who run the garage sale buy things at other garage sales and refurbish them. They paint most things black, white, red or teal. Really, darling stuff. They hold a garage sale three times a year. The next one will be in October. Watch for it at 56 something something Canyon Road in Provo, Utah. It's almost to the end of Canyon Road, before the Peay Ranch.
I saw a chair I wanted. I sat in it after I tired of waiting for Gilmore Girl. It was comfy. I left it there because I
I did make one purchase. Two purchases. Ten cents each.
I am the last of the big time spenders.
We never did make it to Costco. And Gilmore Girl had to do some creative things with a bungee cord to get her sticking-out-of-the-trunk purchases home. Really cute things. Except there was no darlingest-ever chair.

That's funny awwww the glory of garage sale purchases and useless but oh so adorable, chairs...that's why I'm happy I don't have a husband anymore lol...Love the glasse, good purchase ;)
I love garage sales!!
Most of my best 'finds' were from estate and garage sales.
What a coincidence. You write about a chair and I am sitting in one. What are the odds?
That Michael person makes me laugh. Every time.
Tell that Gilmore Girl to take pictures of her stuff, too. I want to see. I love your glasses, too. They remind me of depression glass (which, my children were SHOCKED to find out, is older than me! How can that be?).
so i tried to comment, it was the perfect comment, but the blogger gods don't like me today, it didn't save.
i love the glasses, i wish i could remember my comment.
Hey, I thought you were gonna give those glasses to me. Just kidding. Those sales were better than Costco. We can go to that place any old time. My treasures are still sitting in my living room on top of the big black table I don't want. I will take pictures soon. And maybe blog.
You guys made the right choice. Costco will always be there, but a good garage sale is hard to find! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I see that Zelzee is a follower of yours. I love Zelzee, and if she loves you, so do I! I'm staying...
that buyers remorse can be a two edged sword.
If you ever want to hide some chairs at my house (to preserve your marriage), I'll try to find a place for them where my husband won't see them
My first thought upon reading was--"Oh, no. She bought more chairs!!!" LOL But you were strong--good girl. But the garage sale sounds darling, too bad you didn't take any pictures.
I would like to ditch the job one day and hide in the back seat of your car! I love the glasses and I can only imagine how cool the chairs were. The only thing is, I want to sit in all your other chairs in the garage...I think you should put them all out on the front lawn and have the world's biggest game of "musical chairs". It could be your next ward social!!!
