I teach my first Achievement Days class on Tuesday. The girls are ages eight through ten.
We are going to talk about Thanksgiving. I originally had "1,000 things our family is thankful for," on these little booklets but Phil said that 1,000 things was overwhelming. I wonder how many they will end up with. And now, once I have them all printed I spellchecked and it says, "End of sentence preposition (consider revising)" NOW it tells me. Or maybe I should say, NOW I decide to check.
What are you thankful for? Do you think you could be find one thousand things you are thankful for this month?
PS Phil is thankful for Costco chickens. Oh my.

Well, I WAS thankful for my surprise cat mug until you told me that the kitty was sitting in something suspicious. Do we need to break up again, because I don't know as Kramer will save you this time. There is only so much that one two pound dog can do. I'm just sayin'.
Oh, so cute! I want to know how you made those adorable little books. I need to make one or two or three. Maybe not til next year, but still - I need to know!
I too am thankful for Costco and I am thankful for hubby still having a job and I am thankful for all the grandchildren and I am thankful for being able to stop this list or it would go on and on. I am mostly thankful to be alive and thankful for everything and everyone. I am greatly thankful for God and his love.
God bless.
PS...I wrote a ghost story, I hope you get a chance to read it....
We live a very blessed life here in America. A thousand is a big number, but I'm sure there are a thousand things to be thankful for. All one has to do is look around!!
How fun for you to do Achievement Days!!
I love those books. They are wonderful. You are a genius. Plus, those girlies are lucky to have you. You read my blog so you know about my thankfulnesses, so I won't fill up space here, but I probably could do 1000 or more!
I just have to look at C.A. 1000 times and I am thankful x 1000.
I am thankful that you are Achievement day leader so we can share good ideas. But, mostly I am beyond thankful I get to see you often. Like tomorrow.
" A list of things for which my family is thankful" yep, thats how you'd write it, though it might sound weird saying it. I don't know if i could do a thousand.
Oh I know. I'm thankful I don't teach achievement day girls. Now watch, that will be my next calling....
So, does he like the Costco chickens because there are less zoning probs with them?
(here in the Ogden area, the Ogden city council decided AGAINST allowing people to have chickens in their yards. ) crazy.
They will love these books, and so will anyone who gets to read them when they are finished. :)
There's a lovely little video about people being thankful (on the street in New York City) on lds.org.
