Tonight Trent called and said that Noah, Willow and Meghan were dancing their Celtic dances at the library. We flew and got there too late to see Noah but did see Willow and Meghan dance. I hardly recognized them. They had curly wigs on--well, not Noah. They did a wonderful job. I got a little teary eyed--as I always do when I watch children performing and since they were my grandchildren it was hard not to get emotional. I blinked a lot.
I wasn't up close so these photos are way too dark. When Willow saw us she grinned and waved. I missed it, of course. But I caught Meghan's smile.Getting dressed in regular clothes after they danced.
Their mom, Michelle in the background, making sure all the shoes and dress parts got packed.

These grands of yours are so cute! It's so fun to go see them isn't it, my heart always swells with pride and love too. Looks like a fun night! Come say hi :D
I need to get one of those curly wigs.
That's some fancy hair, I tell you.
Lynne,
I love to read your blog, you always crack me up... Wow, your grandson can really pick up his knees...oh those were the days... young nimble joints... I wish I could have seen them dance - so much fun. My little nephew pulled the fire alarm this year in kindergarten - he told his angry teacher that he waited until school was over before he pulled the alarm to hear how loud it would be... they have their hands full with that one. xo JUlie
i bet that was a lot of fun! noah is too cute to have given you a private recital. also, in regards to your previous post... i have been using setvia (in the raw). i bought it in individual packets and usually only use a half packet at that. it is better for you than splenda or any other sweetener out there. just thought i would tell you!
totally awesome!
What cute grandkids you have! And perfect timing for the irish dancing! They look amazing!
Good luck with the no sugar thing, I will try to come along too, I'll just do it long distance. I gots to kick my habit of sugar inhalation.
Loves!
Irish Dancing is the best! Probably even better when your grandchildren are doing it. I don't blame you for the emotion.
How cute are they. Noah is much braver than I would have been back then. But I didn't dance with the group either, I just grinned and waved at you people.
Wow! I love celtic dance! What treasures you have there;)
my wv: ' worship' true story!
How fun, Lynne. I can see why you're teary-eyed.
is that hair for real?
I can remember when I went and saw the Lord of the Dance...I was so impressed that I thought I needed to be in the troupe...all I needed to do was grow my hair and learn Irish step dancing...I didn't think about being 60 pounds too heavy and out of shape and sore muscles...no by the time my hair grew I would magically be in shape and have lost weight!
Well nothing much has changed the hair is still short and the body is still freakin huge!
