Gilmore Girl and her family took us. And then after the tour they took us to dinner at Olive Garden, which was delicious. The tour and dinner--both delicious. Thank you Gilmore Girl and family. It was wonderful to be with you in a place so sacred. Temples are all about family and it was good to be with your family today. Provo Utah Temple This is the temple that is just five minutes drive from our house and the temple we attend most often.
Oakland California Temple This is the temple Phil and I were married in forty-three years ago. Where did the time go?
Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple This is the temple we went to yesterday to see those two youngsters married for time and all eternity. Phil and I were able to attend the dedication of this temple in person. When the prophet came into the room the atmosphere in the room changed. I could feel the change. It brought tears to my eyes. It felt right, sacred, as if angels had suddenly come into the room with the prophet. I shall never forget the feeling of that moment.

An interesting series of pictures of these attractive temples. The healt-felt meaning of these special places, including where you were married, come though your comment. Nice post.
What a lovely day! Thanks for sharing! I love the temple, too, thought I haven't been to visit the Oquirrh Mountain one yet.
How beautiful Lynne, what to say except thanks for sharing this, oh and the photos are wonderful ;)
I was a lovely day. Except for all the hotness that was floating around. Who ordered summer anyway?
I was such a good day, Thanks for coming with us. The company was great, and the food was delish.
PS Ruby said the worst part of her day was sitting in the back seat all by herself (since Maddy drove with you), the poor little crumb.
I like these cute pictures of your family. The temples are beautiful. I didn't know you were married in California.
Beautiful pictures and thoughts. I didn't know you were married in Oakland. Is that where you grew up? My brother lives in Oakland. I'll have to talk with you!
Isn't it great to be able to go and tour the temples? We (my daughter, g-daughter and I) went to the Draper open house a few months ago! Fantastic!
I am the owner of this photograph of the Oquirrh Mountain Utah temple. I don't mind if you use it for this page, but please note the following: (c)2009 Michael Provard.
