KRAMER GETS A BATH

This is how it all began. Kramer loving the back yard. Phil and Elizabeth cleaning up. It was too tempting.
Get me outta here!
Right after that he tumbled head over paws; Elizabeth caught him before he hit the halfway mark.
But, all that outdoor fun meant Kramer eventually needed a bath.
What's that water on for? Is it just for entertainment? Huh, huh? Just for show? That's it isn't it? Just for fun. I'm not goin' under that waterfall, am I?
This is not entertaining.
Every part is attended to. It's a bum deal for sure.
Feel better now? I don't know if he does or not, but he smells better.

A BEAUTIFUL FALL DAY

The tree in the back yard is loosing its leaves.
Here's Poppa leaf, Momma and baby leaf and even Uncle Fester. He's the black leaf of the family.
The trees in the front yard are slower to give up their bounty, but bounty they do give. Ten thousand acorns.
Curly Sue and Tuesday came by for some popcorn, lunch and a spin or two--or ninety-five--up and down the sidewalk.
A neighbor, who blogs here and here and her funny husband blogs here, said, "Will you put me in your blog?" Of course, although I certainly should have gotten closer.

It was a lovely day. Hope your day was lovely too.

THE FALL LEAVES HAVE FALLEN, EVEN INDOORS

Even the topiary is sporting fall leaves.

Actually, I had a vase of sunflowers next to the topiaries and when the flowers died I threw them out and didn't notice some leaves had fallen on the topiary. It looks so "fallish" that I'm hesitant to clean it up.

ON SUNDANCE SKI LIFT WITH THE RELIEF SOCIETY

Today, fourteen Relief Society Sisters went to Sundance to see the fall leaves and ride the ski lift. Here is a record of our trip. I turned around, taking pictures just after we began.

There are lots of beautiful homes at Sundance. Some of them are summer homes but many people live there year round.

This is one of the bike trails. People take their mountain bikes up on a lift chair and then bike down. That's my goal for next year.
This is the Sundance outdoor theatre.

One of the many ski trail signs.
Two of the thirty or so mountain bikers we saw.

During ski season you get off here if you are a beginner.

Way in the distance is Robert Redford's home.

We got off here and walked the trails.

Some went on this trail that eventually leads to Stewart Falls.

This is the trail Cindy and I followed.
This is one of the four photos I really like--out of the 391 I took.

Cindy, on the trial.

Back where we started from.

This fence keeps skiiers from skiing over the edge.

There was plenty of time for relaxing conversations.

Back on the ski lift. Yikes, they almost didn't make it. This is another one of the four photos I like.
I told them to bring jackets and Patti even brought a blanket but it wasn't as cold as last week when Phil and I went and I FORGOT TO BRING MY CAMERA.

They've been all the way to the end of the lift and are on the way back. Another lift goes higher but not for summer visitors.

This is the steppest part of the whole ride. Anne watched the clouds instead of the ground.

This tree has a hair-do.

I think people can stay in this yurt.
I hated to see the ride come to an end.
Sundance planted flowers...
...and mother nature did too.
This stream goes through the Sundance property and eventually joins the Provo River.

Thank you Mr. Redford for the wonderful ski resort. We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect as was the company.
