THE EINSTEIN CLUB--LEAVING THE KEYS IN THE CAR...AGAIN!

I was listening to NPR Radio when I pulled into the Albertson's parking lot. I turned the car off and continued to listen. After that segment was over I got out and debated whether or not to lock the door and close it. Sometimes that works and sometimes it triggers all the other doors to unlock. It's a "don't lock your keys in the car," feature but the Clown Car has decided to play Russian Roulette with that feature. I was locked out of the car a while ago and Phil had to rescue me because closing a locked door did NOT unlock all of them and my purse--with my keys--was locked inside.

I finally decided I better lock it with the key as I didn't want to have to walk to the passenger side and manually lock those doors.

But, the keys were not in my hand. They were not in my purse.

They were in the car and the "your keys are in the ignition" beeper had been beeping all the time I was debating whether or not to lock the door and slam it. Not only that but the radio was still on.

It could be I'm deaf. It could be I'm stupid Or, as Shan says, "...our minds are so occupied with interesting/perhaps brilliant thoughts that the normal, mundane things go, 'whoosh,' right over our heads." I'm going with "interesting/perhaps brilliant."

You can make your own conclusions.
