Do you ever feel dumb? I'm going to make you feel better.
Last week I went to the library to check out a zillion books by Claudia Mills, who is an author who will be teaching at the BYU Writer's and Illustrators for Young Readers workshop on June 8-12, 2009. I am going to be Claudia's assistant and want to read all her books the library has. (She's a brilliant author, by the way. You should buy her books for your kids/grandkids.)
While I was at the library I needed to go to the restroom. Funny, I thought, only one stall in the restroom at the library? Surely the library is big enough to have more than one stall? And what's this? A urinal? In the women's restroom?
And then it dawned on me.
Stay tuned tomorrow for another instalment of Dumb Inc., a feature designed to make you feel better about yourself.

I don't believe your problem is dumbness. Your problem is something I suffer from as well. For lack of a better term let's call it Einstein-itis. He was too busy being brilliant to worry about things like tying his shoes and which bathroom he was walking into. At least that's the story I tell myself to help me rest easy at night.
you are not alone ... we have all walked into the wrong room thankfully when I di dit no one wa sin there... when martha did someone was in that stall and he came out ... she was red from head to toe LOL...
oops
I did that at church, but I was about 8. Scott Sorenson saw me, and made fun of me and probably told everyone. Boy he's mean. :)
Can't wait to hear "the rest of the story," in honor of Paul Harvey.
I'm telling you, Shan's right. You are just a smarty pants. That's all.
Been there, done that---so I must be just as dumb...
well, at least it was empty!
I can relate,, I feel forgetful, dumb, etc, etc.. (etc means I can't remember whatever words I was going to use) .. I blame my probs on sleep deprivation... :)
