THE SOCK ARSENAL

This is one of our grandboys. He has a dart gun. His brother's had dart guns, too. They were having a war here Saturday night. They played outside with the other grandkids--eleven of them--until after dark. He was very careful to round up his darts and have them handy. He is a Mini James Bond. Mini James has all the latest equipment. This is the Sock Arsenal. It's very high tech.
The Sock Arsenal is so much more advanced that all that hoopla that the real James Bond has to carry. Below: Complicated. Cumbersome. Dangerous. Costly. Above: Simple. Inexpensive. And if the darts don't go off unexpectedly, safe.

That is ingenious on your grands part, as well as outrageously hilarious!

I think his wardrobe is my favorite. I love what kids put together to wear. I bet they just wear their favorite things whether they match or not. I'd like to be able to wear all my favorite stuff together whenever I wanted. I guess I could, but the kids at school would start to call me names behind my back. Only I'd know what they were because kids are not clever enough to keep them a secret or to even whisper them quietly enough that I couldn't hear them.

kids know what to do! Nothing like a little old fashioned ingenuity!

I saw a marshmellow gun in a holiday catalog (lakeside??) anyway, one of those silly things that sticks in your mind. I think your grandson NEEDS one!

always so much fun happening at your house!
and by the way, the halloween blanket was easy! you could do it... i have seen that you have made hot pads, and this blanket uses the single crochet stitch all throughout... one of these weekends we will have a crochet-a-pa-looza! it will be fab!
i love you so much and miss you very much too!
