I smacked the picture of Jesus, I smacked the picture of my two oldest boys when they were ages five and one. I smacked the picture of Daddy, holding Elizabeth when she was two, just before he left to go home--she was not happy because she wanted to go with him. Did a dead spider fall out? No! Will I be sitting at the computer any more tonight? Not on your life.
As you know, if you have read this blog long, I do not like spiders. I do like Jesus, my boys, Daddy and Elizabeth and I'm sorry I smacked them with such frenzied violence, but it was necessary.

One of nature's little creatures up against the frenzy of a whacko arachnophobe.
The spider is probably sitting there somewhere giggling its head off.
Or hiding under her chair, waiting to crawl up her leg -- sorry, Lynne, I couldn't resist :-)
I HATE spiders!!!! So does Marshall apparently because once I put a spider pillowcase on his pillow for Halloween and he slept worse than ever (if that's at all possible). NOTE TO SELF: Burn the spider pillowcase.
I actually don't mind spiders. They eat the mosquitoes!!! And they create beautiful webs. Just think, Lynne, how much bigger you are than the spider!! Poor thing! Unless of course it was a black widow spider! You can smack those all you want.
Ditto about the spider. I don't mind them so much if they stay in their environment, but if they venture into the house. . .
Best wishes~
Cathy
Oh my! I hope you don't see that spider again...
Have a nice night. :D
Why is it that after reading your post I can almost feel a spider climbing oh so sneekily up my back? Have you heard that in your lifetime you actually swallow something like three or four spiders in your sleep? They crawl in your mouth unbeknownst to you... Sweet dreams!
