It's Bookworm's birthday and, true to tradition, it's off to Build a Bear.
I remember when I was this young and had skin that looked that beautiful. Sigh.
She had her mind made up about what "bear" she wanted long before her birthday came. She went right to the triceratops.
Getting innards put in 'er.
Bath time.
Bottom's up.
Registering and giving her a name. April.
Isn't she cute? Bookworm, not April. Okay, April is cute too, for a Triceratops but not one tenth as cute as Bookworm.
A hug for Grandpa.
We love you Bookworm. Happy, happy Birthday.

A lovely warm set of photos, Lynne. And I never knew there were places that would custom-make a stuffed animal. You have a lovely daughter.
Sounds like a very fun tradition, wonderful to do with your grandchildren.
I can't believe we haven't bumped into each other at Build-a Bear! I'm headed there next week with my youngest...only in search of a new pair of birthday clothes for his dog.
What a nice Grandma you are!
P.S. Pizzzeria 712 is located on the west side of State St. in Orem in Midtown (that huge complex that is only halfway completed. Hale Center Theater is supposed to move in there. Go for lunch and get a panini. I think you would like the one with no meat...fresh mozzarella, pesto, rosemary (or basil...can't remember) Lunch is from noon to 3 so I would suggest going around 1:30 or 2 to beat the noon rush. You will LOVE it!
What a great Grandma you are!
Happy Birthday to the Bookworm!
