A PRODUCTIVE HALF HOUR

Tonight I went across the street to see how my neighbor was--her husband was taken to the hospital in an ambulance this morning. He is much better--he has pneumonia.

Then I thought of my Healthy Living Group and the commitment I made to walk five days a week. So I walked around the neighborhood.

Then I saw another neighbor unloading "stuff" for a garage sale tomorrow morning for the Cub Scouts. I went by to see if I could help and spied three bikes, which I bought at the pre-garage sale.

Tonight was a three-fer: A visit with a neighbor. Good news about her husband.

A walk to keep my promise.

Bikes for the grandkids to ride when they visit. (I went to the movie "Up" with some of those grandkids today. It was such fun to be with them and the movie was top notch.)

I have always been a night owl, getting more done late in the day than any other time. Maybe tomorrow night I'll actually get my new chapter out of my head and on the computer.

Neat I love garage sales, I have to take up walking, thanks for the inspiration. I'm your opposite, I'm a morning person. At Night, I hide :)

I hope you writing is all backed up onto a separate hard drive.

I'm glad you supported the Scout yard sale, the kid will love the bikes, I thought Up was sort of sad actually, what did you think? I hope you get that chapter on the computer too.

I thought you were tired last night, and here you were writing at 11:25! I'm glad I was actually able to visit with you in person, as you always leave me feeling better.

Way to go on your walk, and those bikes were an excellent find!

Does Dad know about those bikes? I guess, if they aren't chairs he'll be ok with it. Those are winners.

I didn't buy a great bike at a yard sale just yesterday. Maybe if Mads actually rode hers I would have bought her this fabulous one. Oh well.

Also, I didn't buy a cute little school desk.

Love this post and the randomness of it---seems exactly what my brain does...and my body follows!

New chapter? What is the book about? Is this the story of your life or another book you are writing?

Also, how nice of you to buy those bikes for some very grateful grandkids. What a great Grandmother you are!
