WHAT CAN'T YOU LIVE WITHOUT?

Tonight was Enrichment. Our theme was, What Can't You Live Without? The only restriction was you couldn't say your family or the scriptures. Those were a given. We had to bring what we couldn't live without in a paper bag so no one could see. We were then given 30 seconds to tell about it. It was a fun evening. The variety of what people can't live without was amazing. Our new Enrichment Leader did a fantastic job of organizing and making sure everything got done. Our food committee, ditto and everyone who helped make this evening a success, how I love them all.

What can't you live without?

Maybe a camera. Or a book. I need both to stay alive. Oh, and a block of cheese.

What was yours? What was yours?

Do tell, do tell....

This sounds like so much fun. I'm filing it away in my head in case I'm ever released from nursery - oh, I mean if I'm ever on the enrichment board again.
Seriously, I wish I could have come. And I want to know what you're something was. Hmmmmm, I'm not sure what I'd bring. I'm going to have to think about that.

gribr - couldn't they require us to type something exciting?

Thanks so much for sharing the pictures. The tables look beautiful. What did you say you couldn't live without?

If I can't pick a person I'll have to say my cat. Hank is good company and he fits in a paper bag. I would liked to have come to your enrichment with my cat in a bag. I think it would have been an evening everyone would have remembered. Plus, also, I really have an unhealthy attachment to my phone. I get all sorts of upset if I forget it or can't find it. I would even have to say that I can live without my cat before I can live without my phone.

What was in your bag, Lynne? Tierney wants to know. I guess I would put my Cymbalta, espresso, chocolate, my "magic card," and book and CDs in mine.

Books, music, pens and paper, I really like fruit snacks too. It was a wonderful evening and very cool all the different things people brought.

It was a fun evening! I was surprised that very few said anything about their cell phones or computers. They must be more disciplined than I. TP had to have been the #1 item mentioned.

Like Shan, I picked my cat.

I can't live without LOVE, but that can't be put in a bag, so it would have to be my dog, but he may not stay in the bag. If my house was burning down, I would run through it and save all of the artwork of Randy and my dad's that is hanging on the walls, but that is too big to fit in the bag . . . so I guess I would take my journal which contains spiritual experiences I have had and poems that I have written. I already have Randy's book on 2 CDs so it can be reprinted. Maybe I will convert all of the rest of the artwork, poems, journals, etc. to several CDs and put them in a bag right next to my bed, so I can quickly grab them on the way out of the door in case of an emergency.

Thanks for the post--I also want to know what you you had in your bag. IN YOUR POST FOR TOMORROW, PLEASE TELL US ALL WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR BAG. WE ALL WANT TO KNOW. Also let us know what other ladies brought that was different.
