SOOTHING MY COMPUTER'D SOUL

Last night my computer was being particularly stubborn. It wouldn't let me do much and I was ready to throw it out the window--just like my daughter-in-law, Tricia who was ready to throw her blog out the window. We could have had a race to see who could launch the furthest.

So, this morning, when I opened my message from Tut--you really should subscribe--it's nice to get a positive email every morning--it was soothing. Do you need some soothing this morning? Listen to Tut.

Relax. Breathe in deep. Hold it. Let it out. Loosen your shoulders. Smile. Close your eyes. And Lynne, you'll be surprised at how many voices you'll hear, whispering sweet encouragement into your ear.

Kissey, kissey, you can do it - The Universe

Did Tut buy you a new computer? Because maybe I'll sign up. Sweet words aren't enough to make my computer work. Grump Grump.

Grump.

(Because you can't hear the joking in my voice, I will tell you that I am teasing. That was a happy morning email and just what you needed. Probably what I needed too, only I'm too grumpy - as you may have guessed. It may have to do with a house full of naughty kids that are encouraging my kids to be naughty. GRRRRR. It may be time to pull out the boxing gloves...)

pretty much eveything i have to say has nothing to do with this particular blog. though i'm sorry for your plight. my computer isn't my favorite on most days. mostly i need to say 2 things:

1. i've been the blog prodical daughter and i've missed your very guts. i'm repenting and trying to catch up. however, i was at your house the other day with my amy friend. we drove up to your very driveway on the way to see her parents, only you weren't there. your swings were, however, and they looked like they wanted me to take a lovely nap in them.

2. i saw a preview for House on the TV today and i thought of you. i'm feeling shocked to know that House is in the mental hospital. i understand crazy people which is why i love him so. how do they expect us to wait until september to find out why House is crazy? does he have to be locked up in that place all that time until we get to see him? i know something about those places and it's not much plesantness. that's a story for another day. i dare say those stories could rival mrs. bird.

So, i pretty much did my own blog on your comment place. i'd be sorry but i'm pretty sure the internet has unlimited space and the only interesting things i've had to say as of late were for you.

This is such a nice thing to read while on hold waiting to pay my E.R. bill. How soothing-ish!

We ALL want to hear Shan's mental illness stories. I'll be checking her blog, night and day. Come on, Shan. Tell all.
