THEY'RE B-A-A-CK

The fruit flies. Driving me nuts. I peel the cucumber, they come. I chop the tomato, they come. I stem the strawberry, they come and come and come.
At 8:15 I put out the trap:

2 Tbs. water
2 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
A few drops liquid dish detergent

Aha! At 10:00 I had victims.
Revenge is mine.

I'm happy that I don't have the fruit flies yet....
You do revenge very well ;)

My favorite dressing: Ken's Asian sesame. SO yummy! I pour it over my salad with chicken, chow mein noodles, mandarin oranges, and little almond slivers and it's an oriental salad. Yum!

I'll remember that next time I have fruit flies. By the way, what is zantum gum? I'll have to google it.

You got those pesky flies.

That doesn't look like water, vinegar and dish soap in that glass.

Thanks for the recipe, but I haven't seen any fruit flies either. Could it be that I haven't bought much fruit this year and there is none growing in my yard either--sad to say.
