AND A LITTLE CHILD SHALL SET ME STRAIGHT

Gilmore Girl, Tuesday and I were at Cafe Rio today for lunch. We were talking about Curly Sue's baptism, coming up in March. Curly Sue wants me to give a talk. I have talked at the other two little granddaughter's baptism in the last two months. (We had three granddaughters born eight years ago, one in December, one in January and one in February so they all just turned eight--baptism age.) I was being crabby and said, "Why don't you have Dad speak? He'd love to give a talk on baptism."

"Well," Gilmore girl said, "I'd love him to speak too, and he should, with your crabby attitude."

Two-year-old Tuesday had been shoveling beans and rice in her mouth. She swallowed, looked up and me and said, "And you smell like one too."

1. Oh cafe rio...would love to have that.
2. Never met tuesday, but she sure sounds like she has a mind of her own..so cute!
3. I got all teary thinking that Curly Sue is going to be baptized. Can't believe that she is old enough.. (and mine too!) How have I been away for that long!
4. You should speak at her baptism. She only turns 8 once.
( easy for me to write, since I don't have to speak!)

And -- I think you answered my question too. 8 years old is baptism age. Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for making comments on my blog--and for keeping them clean.;) I like meeting other LDS bloggers, especially the ones reading the Nester. I'd bet she could come up with a use for barnacles.

How funny! What a delightful bumper crop you had eight years ago!

Thank you for visiting me. I hope that you'll feel free to pop in any time!

I've bookmarked your blog and will be back to spend some time looking around.

Excuse me, YOU have NOT spoken at the other two girls babtisms. I believe me, the Gilmore Girl aka your favorite child spoke at butterfly's and not you. But you should have, by cracky.
