MY FAVORITE PHOTO

I started another blog the other day and this is the photo on it. I wanted to share this photo with you. It was taken on my wedding day.

I was so in love. So happy. So innocent and believing life would be easy and rich with wonderful experiences. It has been rich with experiences but I have a hard time saying they have all been wonderful. That is because I don't understand like God does.

I am embarking on a study of faith. It's going to be slow going because every day I have responsibilities and it won't let up until after the New Year. Maybe not even then. But I hope to be able to see my life as God does, to feel the happiness he offers me, even when things don't play out like I think they should.

But, tonight, I wanted to share this photo. An uncomplicated little photo, showing me on a happy day. May you all have those days of happiness or remember those days of happiness or have faith that all will be well. That is one of my goals, to know that all will be well.

beautiful photo and I am sure it does keep those memories locked away with it for you to visit as needed :)
Happy Friday.

I can see why that is your favorite photo. I see contentment and hope in your face.

I want/need to have hope that all is well too!

When I first saw this photo, I thought, "Who is that movie star? She looks familiar. Is it Natalie Wood?" You look so beautiful and so in love. What a beautiful photo.

I have a photo of me when I am dancing with Randy and it also radiates how in love I am with him. I don't look as young or as beautiful as you do in your photo, but it also represents total happiness because I was finally with my dream-come-true guy. I am so glad that I told him that almost every day we were married.

Now every day I miss him so much. My challenge is to have faith that somehow I will find some measure of happiness for the rest of my mortal life.

After Randy died, I felt like my sun had just fallen from the sky. Learning to know you has brought some sunshine back into my life where I thought I would have to stumble around in darkness forever.

What is the address and name of your new blog? Is it just a private blog or can I read it too?

Hi Bonnie, it's not private, probably just boring. http://walkinginstarlight.blogspot.com/ I'll send you an email in a bit.

Colette, my Jeans are too big for the grandkids. Har har.

Well spoken lynee. There is no guarantee to the hand one will be dealt in life. We all realize that as we get older. We have to get up each day and face whatever it is that God has in store for us. Some of us have been dealt a more difficult hand to play than others. Love your wedding picture, you can see the innocence and warmth in your face.

Ahh! I went to a wedding reception last night, my friend's son was marrying a lovely young lady. Sometimes that innocence is a bit overwhelming, because I KNOW they will hit adversity of some type or another, and it hurts me to think something so lovely, so perfect, so new, would get hurt. life is tough!
