A HIDEOUT?

Do you ever wish you had someplace to go, a private place with no telephone, a place that is warm with a cozy nook containing a big comfy chair with an ottoman, a table for snacks, a stack of books, and a good reading lamp? A place with a gate that can be closed against the world? Well, maybe this is it.

Oh, wait. Maybe this is the hideout of someone in the Witness Protection Program.

Forget I mentioned it. And try to make it fuzzy in your mind.

PS Thanks, Butterfly for the clandestine photo.

You have described our Fortress of Solitude! Well except for the gate...and the no telephone.

Anytime baby! the welcome mat is always out for you!

If it's heated, I'll take it. Plus, kudos on the use of "clandestine." What a fantastic and underused word.

I don't know what "clandestine" means. Even after you used it in a sentence.

How about you build one of those witness protection houses in your back yard. It would fit perfect in the garden area, then you wouldn't have to plant stuff. And we could go there and eat yummies and visit.

You are hilarious, but yes I still want one, oh wait I have one, my bedroom.

Lynne, can I just tell you that it makes my whole heart happy when you comment on my blog. I'm so glad you are my blog friend even though we never met. Also, I'm glad you birthed Hillyerie. I love her more than my cat, Hank.

I was going to make a comment about something you said, but my mind seems to have gone all fuzzy I wonder why

Cool post :)

I think that it looks cosy.

I really have a thing about seeing how other people live and I think that I want to go inside and see what it looks like...

Could you do that and then post those pictures? :)

Thanks for the brilliant lunch, also---I had such a MAHVELOUS time!

Yes, I need that hideout. It looks just right for me, but I agree with Jessica--it needs to be heated. I am lousy at starting fires in a fireplace.

Looks fun to me! I could use a little get away like this. I can just imagine a warm cozy fire in an old stove... a warms bed with lots of flannel quilts... and of course... hot chicken soup. And... Chocolate cake for dessert.
