LUNCHEON AND A BATH FOR KRAMER

VISITING TEACHING LUNCHEON

Today Sarah and I hosted a luncheon for the women we visit teach each month. Pam, Genny and Maisel. We had Caesar salad, chicken fingers--made with bread crumbs, coconut and chopped nets, Magleby's style Parmesan rolls and buttermilk pie.

Sarah gave the
lesson. My favorite quote from the lesson was from Elder Richard D. Scott--he's my favorite General Authority--“You cannot today remotely imagine what that decision to be unwaveringly obedient to the Lord will allow you to accomplish in life. Your quiet, uncompromising determination to live a righteous life will couple you to inspiration and power beyond your capacity now to understand” (“Making the Right Decisions,” Ensign, May 1991, 34).

I certainly could use some inspiration in my life and I am trying my best to live a righteous life so maybe that will come true for me.

Here's a picture of the rolls. I forgot my camera so any photos are on
Pam's site.

KRAMER'S BATH

Kramer, pre-bath. He has no idea he's about to be snatched and soaped.

Can you see why he is called Kramer?

"Someone help me."

" Quit lookin' at me."
"Will the humiliation never stop?"
"I don't wanna be blow dried."
"Well, I must say I look pretty darn good, in fact I may look great!"
And now look what my master does! Throws a lousy sock on me. The humiliation never ends.

Kramer is just adorable. I want to pick him up and cuddle him... I wish you could just physically email him to me for an hour and then you could have him back to chew up your rug. Also, what a good idea to invite the people you visit teach over for lunch.

Lynn, I never seize to be amazed! First of all, my "Magleby's" breadsticks have never looked like that. Second, you actually use your recipes! Third, I've always wanted to host a VT luncheon but never done it. Fourth, you have a family cookbook online. I could keep going on, but let me just end by saying I feel blessed to have you as a friend.

The lunch sounds tres yumme`! I liked the sounds of those buns so much I almost made them...but not enough time for supper.

Poor little Kramer, he is a wee thing with many issues...staying at a new home, not knowing where he should go and not go, getting baths...no wonder he is being disobedient...and wrecking rugs...maybe he needs a brain map and therapy? He is cute...too cute

Well, everybody already said how cute Kramer is, so I'm not sure what to say, but he is the cutest, and I just love all the pictures. I want to come to your Relief Society luncheon. I LOVE the Magleby's breadsticks, and by the way, I already think you are a very inspired lady.

Love,

me

Oh, sooooo darling---and the same face as my little Mignon. Love my puppies when they are so clean and smell nice.

What are chooped nets? I don't want to try a salad with nets in it. I don't really like sea food, but if you meant nuts, I will try that. Captain Brown Dot also puts socks on his pets and makes them smell things. It is in the genes
